Featuring a 5-piston, fixed-displacement design with an 81.9cc displacement, the SD5H09 provides a practical balance of cooling capacity, compact size, and compressor load. This makes it especially well suited for classic Volkswagen A/C installations, where available engine compartment space is often limited.

This 12-volt configuration features a 125mm dual-groove V-belt pulley, keyed shaft, and ear-style mounting for integration into compatible aftermarket A/C systems. Designed for R134a refrigerant, it also features an FL-style cylinder head with 3/4" x 7/8" ports.
